Hoping to at least win the series the Frogs played on Sunday and ended up loosing again 7-6, in another close game. Tuesday night, the Frogs will take on the Baylor Bears and the game will be televised on CSTV so be sure to tune in!

SWEEP!
On Tuesday the 25th the Frogs played a double-header against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. The first game was a close one with a count of 0-0 through the entire game until the 9th inning when the Frogs finally got a run to win the game. The second game, only starting 30 minutes after the first game ended wasn't as close, as the Frogs won 5-1 against the Islanders. This weekend the Frogs traveled to Sin City to play a conference series against UNLV.

First conference series lost to UNM
After a hopeful start against the University of New Mexico Lobos on Thursday night with a win of 10-2 the Frogs took turn for worse. On Friday the Frogs lost 7-4 and Saturday lost 5-3. Not a great start to the conference season leaving the frogs at a record of 10-9.
Here are the highlights from the winning game on Thursday

Last Chance Game Canceled
The last chance the Frogs had to prove themselves before conference games start, against McNeese State on Tuesday night was canceled do to the stormy weather. So now the Frogs leap in to conference season tonight against University of New Mexico Lobos. The three game series will go from today to Saturday because of the Easter Holiday weekend. There is a lot of pressure on the Frogs after the recent sweep against them from Wichita State. Hopefully the Frogs will get a good start on their conference record.

Two close of a call...
The Frogs played both Tuesday & Wednesday night of this past week, winning both although by just one run each game. Tuesday night's game against UT-Arlington, the Frogs saved themselves in the bottom of the 9th winning 3-2. On Wednesday night, the game carried into the 11th inning winning over Texas State 4-3. Both games are were too close for comfort and the Frogs need to keep the winning alive and get ready for conference.
This weekend the Frogs will take on the #2 Ole Miss Rebels. Unfortunately, TCU's spring break starts this weekend which may be a hinderance in that the fans will be lacking in attendance. Also, due to the poor weather the Dallas/Fort Worth weather had on Thursday, Friday's game has been moved to Saturday. Therefore there will be a double header on Saturday with the first game starting at 12:00 p.m. So if you are in Fort Worth, come cheer on the Frogs, they are going to need all of the support they can get!

Almost...
Well, the Frogs didn't do as well as hoped at the Dairy Queen Classic in Minnesota. The Frogs played hard to beat Minnesota 7-4 on Friday night taking the only win for the Frogs in the tournament. The two other games, played against Pepperdine and Tulane added losses to the teams record. The losses bring the Frogs to a 4-3 overall record. However, a seven-game home-stand starts on Tuesday against the UT-Arlington Mavericks, immediately followed on Wednesday night against the Texas State Bobcats. Hopefully the Frogs can reclaim a winning record back at their home field.
